The Mindray BS-240 writes its results into your order
The mirror image of the BC-20s: here the bridge sits listening, and the analyzer is the one that connects when it has something to deliver.
How it connects
-
Cable the instrument to the network
The BS-240 needs to be able to see the bridge PC. If it shares the isolated LAN with the BC-20s, the two live together without trouble.
-
Point the instrument at the bridge PC
In the analyzer’s communication settings: the PC’s IP address and the port the bridge is listening on.
-
Register the instrument in the panel
Devices → add, with HL7-over-TCP transport in listen mode. The configuration travels down to the bridge on its own.
-
Enter the order number (folio) on the instrument
The same folio as the order. The chemistry result goes straight into the test it belongs to.
What the configuration looks like
{ "nombre": "Química BS-240", "modelo": "bs_240", "transporte": "tcp_hl7",
"listen": "0.0.0.0:9101" }
You do not write it: you generate it from the panel and the installer already carries it inside. We show it so you know exactly what the bridge is doing on your network.
If something does not work
And if the result arrives but does not land in the order
It goes to the unassigned-results tray, under Devices. From there you send it to the right order in two clicks. That case is almost always the folio not being entered on the instrument, or typed in differently — which is why scanning the label beats typing it.
What happens to the rest of the laboratory
Tests that do not come off this instrument are entered the way they always were, by hand, in the worklist. Connecting one analyzer does not commit you to connecting them all: every instrument you add takes work away, and the ones that are not supported do not get in the way.
Bring it to the demo
Twenty minutes with your Mindray BS-240 switched on. You run a sample and watch the result show up in the order without anyone typing it.
